TranzDEM - Just a small problem

Hi all,

So I have a DEM of the Greater Manchester area. I'm building a fairly extensive project. I've managed to crop the DEM down to just the area I need but that's about it. I can't overlay an OS map to it so I just have a vast expanse of land :hehe:

I've read through the Adobe files as best as I can and I just can not seem to find anything on how to do it. I'm sure it's there because many people have come to grips with it, but could someone possibly help me please? I've been attempting to get this project on track o) for the best part of two months now and nothing has materialised until this morning...

If anyone can possibly help I'd be very grateful

Did you do the Quick Start Guide? It includes the "Map Tile" tutorial. And map tiles are the easiest way to obtain your OS map.

For some unknown reason, the OS maps have been made available via the Microsoft Map Tile service, called by its original name "MS Virtual Earth" in TransDEM. Select Tile Type "Other 1". Zoom levels up to 14 produce the 1:50,000 Landranger map, zoom level 15 and higher the 1:25,000 Explorer map.
