Transportation in Tampa Bay

Hey Guys!

This is not entirely rail, but it was in my honest opinion that this was the most suitable thread section. Here in the Tampa Bay Area(TBA) we have a newly born regional transit authority(rta). The system was dubbed 'The Tampa Bay Area Regional Transportation Authority' also known as TBARTA. The new RTA consists of 7 county Metropolitan Planning Organisations(MPOs). The counties specifically are Pinellas, Hillsborough, Citrus, Pasco, Hernando, Sarasota, Manatee, and Polk. I have to use PSTA in the mean time. If you've lived in Portland, Oregon and you've heard of Timothy Garling, he's moved to Pinellas. He is very ambitious. If he got a Metropolitan area to wise up to LRT, certainly a tiny peninsula county like Pinellas could wise up as well. It's going so good, the Anti-Tax debaters like rail and won't mind to pay for services that will increase our quality of life. We(besides Detroit) are one of the biggest Metro-Areas that don't have a proper rta. TBARTA'll change that. A few trains from Europe came and I rode in the cab w/ the operator. My city is in a whole new perspective with rail. CSX is completely banished from the whole Metro-Area. The PSTA(Pinellas suncoast transit authority) is jammed to the gut with passengers. Everybus is over capacitated. The Bus company said it needs Articulated buses with an extension and more seating. The new paint job is gathering on with customers. Just like UK's Arriva CrossCountry.
