Transparent trains

Hi,
I have just started on trainz but I cannot work out how to stop my trains from becomming transparent. Can ayone help please?
 
HI mate,

Not sure on that, Transparent in Driver, in Surveyor, and or in Railyard(viewer)

Possibly post a screenshot?

What version of trainz are you running?

Make sure you Train detail slider is all the way to the right? (max). You should find that in your options menu.

HI,
Thanks for the advise but sadlly still have transparent trains and buildings etc. Occasionally they become properly visible but not for long. :'(
I am using Trainz Simulator 2009.
Can you think of anything else which may help please?

Yes this is true in TS 2009 a lot of older assets have Alpha issues. This makes them look transparent. You will just have to find other assets to use as I believe thier is no work around.

Try running the program in Compatibility Mode. This is a check-box option found in the settings off of the menu. (Where you adjusted your view settings).

This should allow the older objects load without too much of an issue with the alpha channels. The downside is you may see problems with performance.
