Is it possible to change a steam locomotive into an electric locomotive without changing the looks? Like making it's boiler into a huge battery.
Looks like you don't know Ben then! Why in the hell would you want to do that?
It's because I would like the steam trains to be as green as the electrics are so that other country (that we had given all of our steamies to) can still have their revolution as well as being green. Why in the hell would you want to do that?

Most of the UK's export steam (IIRC) went to Africa or (east) Asia. Africa really isn't concerned with "green" at the moment, they're concerned with not collapsing economically, preventing epidemics, and dealing with millions of poor people. They really don't need any green locomotives right now, and it would be a huge hassle to convert a steamer to electric power. Asia is a lot like a huge crazy technological wonderland and most countries have long since gotten rid of steamers, except parts of China. (and we all know how environmentally friendly they are)It's because I would like the steam trains to be as green as the electrics are so that other country (that we had given all of our steamies to) can still have their revolution as well as being green.
oh yeah I can't understand many the complected words in the link and the picture of how the train worked.
Keep it under your hats but here is a sneak preview of our latest effort. At the moment it is a bit draughty on the footplate but that is being worked on. Now does anyone have a 1.5 volt 1500 horsepower electric motor?
