Transferring download content from 2006 to 2010

I have ver 2006 on my computer. I have 2010 installed on a second computer. How do I transfer the download content from computer one to computer two.

Transfer the local folder to the 2nd PC and use 2010 CM to import content.

Followed your advice and the transfer went quite well. There is a problem however, all of the content which was transferred from 2006 has pixilated skins.

What can be done to fix this problem?

Hi Don,

Are any items also all black too? If so this is a video driver issue with texture compression and you need to turn this option off and reimport your content.

In CM under options, or settings I think it's called, look for use texture compression when importing content. Turn this off by unchecking this.

Now open up all of your imported content for edit, and then close the items. This should fix the problem.

I followed the above procedure, but the imports from 2006 are still pixelated.

Also when it finishes importing them, it says 0 Errors 1177 Warnings
I am not sure but I think I am installing 1177 items. Could this be the pixelation problem?

Highlight a bunch of items, and choose Open for Edit from the contextual menu (right click), or while highlighted, choose the same option from the Edit menu item on the menu bar at the top.

Now highlight the content again, and choose commit. This should force the database to update and the content to import properly.

so, I have the same problem. when I want to dwnld to ts10, it downloads to ts12. how do you switch the download??
