Does anyone have a link to their website, or are they out of business? Trying to connect through the help file brings up the 404 error. Thanks for any help.

Nothing new on Plus, Norm. I think Trainzmap project is stalled. First of all, a version for VISTA is needed.

And we are in need of a good batch asset changer for TRS2006 and TC! Maurizio, please, stand by us.

...what about Vista?

8) Hello Alberte ,

I have used VistaMare TrainzMap on Vista without and now with Vista Service Pack-1, and have no problems with it.

I would suggest, right-click on the installer from the any download, and select properties/compatibility, and check the Run As Administrator box.

TrainzMap is a wonderful utility, I use the Anchor tool, the asset changer, print maps, study new routes for familiarity, etc.

I just can't do without TrainzMap!

Allen,

The problem is that when it calls my Trainzutil.exe (last version) to scan finds nothing in VISTA. Before and after VISTA SP1.

Besides a version for Vista a version compatible with TC would be mighty nice as well.

Hi Zwabberaar

To get Trainzmap to find TC you need to go to the TC folder and find the file 'TC.exe'

Copy that file in the same folder and then rename the copy to 'TRS2006.exe'

Then when you run Trainzmap select the 'Browse' option for 2006 and select the TC folder.

Hi,
I have Trainzmap for a while and used it a lot.
After rearranging my harddrives and shovelling TRAINZ 2006 to a new drive, I can't get Trainzmap back to work. It doesn't find Trainz at all.
It' browse-windows asks for .trk - files which aren't in any Trainz 2006 folder.
Any idea or hint ?

Just found the thread by bhumf - with the same problem and no resolution

Thanks
Wolfman

Me again - problem is solved

The answer came from a German Thread:

it was not SP 1, but the old TrainzMap version 1.0.0 (delivered with the Trainz 2006 and SP 1 - CD).
After downloading and installing of version 1.1.0,
it works.
