Trainzland's Carbon City And Modula City

Trainz Of ATL
So today I was on Trainzland's website, and I was amazed by the promotional vids for MC and CC. They both look awesome, but I can't decide which one to spend my money on. So if anyone here has purchased either or both of these, please tell and explain to me which one is better. I was shocked by the caves of modula city, but are those a seperate addon? Do these come in a box or are they a download? Are the caves even included in the full MC route? And last, where can I download these? Like always, google made it very hard to find the real website. If you can, please answer all of these questions.

Thanks!

They're a download. I have both, and they are well worth the money. I favor Modula City more, as it's a beautiful tropical isle, complete with dolphins jumping out of the water, boats, and beaches. There's a demo version that comes with TS2010. If you buy it, be sure to get version 3.6 - the one advertised on the site is old and while I think you can upgrade it, cut to the chase and get the latest which includes tours through around a mountain and caves inside. Cabon City Classic rocks too though, and Trainz needs a lot more CCC-type routes.

Thanks for telling me!

but where can I download MC v3.6? i looked for it, but i couldnt find it. can you please give me the download link?

thanks

If you email their support address (I think it's supportt at trainzland.de - remove the extra "t") and ask for it, and they'll send it. You pay via Paypal to that address anyway unless they've changed things.

I have Cabon City and it is fascinating. Only once have I managed to drive a tram to the top of that dashed tower though! It is impressive.

thanks for the help guys!

this sounds pretty easy, exept for paypal, they ripped me off everytime i bought thrashers tickets. but if i have to use it to get one of these awesome routes, then so be it. thanks again!:D

I own both it depends on what you want

Modula city is futuristic and is mostly a grid exept outside the city. Cabon city is modern and the roads are more bendy.
PAlso if your having a hard time getting up sky tower (coming from off the elevated track that goes thru the tower and the red supention bridge)

you have to press up on the CC HUD because it only says sky tower entr... and the rest gets cut off so you don't see what's to the right
I'm going to be merging both together to form one aosome route

BUT...

But what if you don't have a Paypal account? Then what do you do?
I don't have a Paypal account and I want MC 3.6, so I don't see how I'd be able to pay them using the method you described.

Email them and see. Perhaps the Trainzland folks will accept a wire or mailed payment from you.

I don't know why you have to buy Modula City. When I got Trainz, MC was already installed, including the full version, the demo version, and the version without buildings.

Does anyone know where you can still buy Modula City version 3.6?

Try PMing user CAB or, failing that, maybe Marinus. I think both are still active in Trainz, even if not with Trainzland.
