N3V, Auran and Trainz can go **** themselves! I made the huge mistake of buying Trainz 2012 and posted a help request in this forum because it won't work properly. I have supported Trainz since the 2006 version and have all versions since.

I'm sick of the crappy service one gets when things go wrong with these games and it's clear Auron, N3V don't give a **** about their customers.

I'm done with Trainz and will NEVER buy another game from Auran again!

Sorry you are having problems. Maybe if you could tell the Community here what the problems are, chances are you will get some assistance.

Cheers

AJ

Did you even bother trying the advise you were given in your other thread?
The info you have given on your problem is non existent, how can anyone help solve the problem when all you say is "Trainz sucks"?
See ya then, have fun wherever you go

Does it? I wasn't aware. Funny how you seem to be the only one who thinks this

Anyways, did you try what Scott Said?

This may indicate a corrupt sector of your HDD. Try performing a defrag and a chkdsk.

To Deadno5 - Since you ask whether I tried the advice on my other thread, you clearly have the details on what my problems are - as these were detailed IN MY OTHER THREAD!

And yes, I tried the advice given of doing a defrag - weird advice, but did it and the game still wouldn't install. I don't see how a defrag would sort out a game non-installation.

I registered the game prior to installation with Auran, so it wasn't that.

Either way - I'm done. Rail Simulator doesn't give these idiotic problems or have patches that screw everything up!

G'day!

Well you're certainly not going to get any help using language like that. Your post was written in an extremely inappropriate manner and quite immature too. It is fine to be frutrated but please refrain from using language and post your replies respectively.

First off, what is the problem you are having with your software? We cannot help if we don't know what problems your are having.

Cheers! :)

Jake.

Hi hiltoncam,

I've only just found your other thread.

I now have a question for you.

How did you acquire the game - on disc, or as a digital download?

The error is very specific.

If you need assistance, please contact the helpdesk.

As others have noted, it sounds like a hardware problem on your machine- though it could also be a damaged DVD, if you're installing from DVD. Either way, the place to get help is via the helpdesk. Nobody from N3V monitors the discussion forums in an official capacity.

kind regards,

chris
