Trainz Online Chat Question

add the 'online chat' rule in surveyor, and you will be able to access it in driver. You will need to add 'friends' into the list though.

Okay, what about the one for 2009? How does it work? Everytime I try to open it, it say offline. But I have not found away to connect... or, go online as it is..
 
Currently, the itrainz server is offline. Once it is online again, it should connect automatically :)

So any clues on when it will be back up? I am interested in how it works... can it be used while in surveyor mode? It would be nice to have the option to talk to people while I am working on my layout.

Why is it down anyway?
 
Well, I guess the reason it's down is that something on the server has gone down... Or the server itself has gone down...

The TS09 version will work in any area in game. Main menu, surveyor, driver, railyard.

The chat is working now, but I was sitting there last night and nobody came in.

I think Auran need to work on it. It needs some work.

First of all you need to know who is currently online in the chat when you join. Just like IRC.

Yeah, I was a little disheartened by the fact that I could not tell if anyone was online while I was. I hope something can be done about this in the future.
