trainz launcher missing

hi,

i recently re-installed my trainz 2010 and updated it the same day from 42203 to 44088 then 44088 to 45467. the next day i started it, and a message from norton anti-virus popped up saying "launcher.exe" was suspected of a virus and has been permanently removed. now, my normal "Launch TS2010" doesnt work, no matter how much i click. the only way to get into the game is from content manager or "trainz" in bin folder, but this just opens in a small window, which is pretty annoying.

is there a way to get "launcher.exe" without re-installing and patching it (again)?

First thing is beat norton soundly and tell it to allow/ignore trainz, then go to your 2010 file/folder in there you will find the launcher icon. R/click and send a shortcut to desktop.

If it is, he needs to be careful, as there is something in the forum CoC regarding advertising (http://online.ts2009.com/mediaWiki/index.php5/Code_Of_Conduct - rule 12)

EDIT: As for the OP's question, you will need to find the quarantine feature and restore the launcher.exe file back to it's original location, then add it as an exception to the on-access scanning (as I do not have Norton, I'm not sure on the exact proceedure)
