Trainz getting stuck while is opening

Trainz 2022 (build 132316) is stuck while is opening. How can I solve this problem?

The program is running a database repair. Let TRS22 run and don't touch your computer.

A database repair occurrs for the following reasons:

1) It's a brand installation
This will usually run very quickly.

2) There was an upgrade to an existing install
This can run for a very long time. I've had it run for nearly 2-days with my huge amount of content.

3) The program crashed badly or the computer was turned off while the program was closing or still in use.
A crash like this will trigger an Extended Database Repair and this repair can take a very, very long time to run due to the extensive data checking. This is the same as an upgrade database repair.

If this occurred after turning off your computer, wait until the program has finished closing. This is more of an issue with a large database or when closing very large routes.
 
Mine is doing the exact same thing. "Scanning for added asset files (30297 asset folders scanned)" And there it sits for 20 minutes so far....not moving. This absolutely sucks.

Bring up Task Manager or the Launcher. Hit the Windows key to bring up the task bar and you can access the Launcher unless you run windowed. Once the Launcher is up, click on Developer and then Show client logs. It usually shows something.

Task Manager can show if your disk is busy as well as your CPU.
 
I've got a huge validation process going on right now with my copies. My hard disks are running at 100% for both the beta and live versions. This occurred today and I wonder if this is due to some updates that N3V did yesterday with the server.
 
Same here, try to do a database repair gets to 1620 and stops. If you try again get a failed message as repair aborted. Exit plus. cannot restart trainz at all. Most odd. Restart computer can load game then. And save. Seems this is a content manager issue. ???? Sure my route is big and lots of content. But this a new issue totally.

I waited and the database validation completed and now everything appears to be okay. My recommendation is to wait.
 
Mine is still sitting at what I posted before.....2 hours later. Disk is no where near full, HD light flickers once in awhile. This is yet another screw-up in Trainz. I am sooooo sick of this crap. I have been using and repairing computers since DOS and I have NEVER had ANY program give me anywhere near this much hassle. Just ridiculous.

I have been using and repairing computers since DOS and I have NEVER had ANY program give me anywhere near this much hassle. Just ridiculous.
Yup. The program acts like an Oracle database and not a game. Mine sat for about 45 minutes then it loaded okay. My hard disk was pegged at 100% while some kind of data validation was going on. Go to the Launcher and look at the client log. It may show what's going on.
 
I am so glad this issue is getting adressed! I keep running into this problem myself a ton. Might be a bug that is being caused from a new patch or update. Maybe the devs will see this thread and adress the issue.

The game will freeze and stutter. One can hear the computer processing something ?? I thought it was a windows update. Seemed odd that it could crash whatever is running. Again a hard shut down and reload fixed the issue.??? But what is happening now is totally new in the last few days. I used to do a database repair on exiting Plus. Which used to run fine all done in 30 seconds. Now if I try and reload Plus straight after, will not load. So they have done something which needs rolling back.
 
There is a problem indeed, i made database rebuild by choice two times today and for first time in Trainz after 1 hour i stopped it. Hopefully i can start the game normal. I never faced this delay. It seems it stops to an asset forever.

The once a month hard disk activity may be content validation. I've seen that before.

If the database is being validated, this will prevent Plus from loading and this can go on for a very long time. I know this from experience. If you check Task Manager, your hard drive is most likely pegged at 100% which is preventing anything from loading. Similarly, if the huge validation is happening, your DBR won't start because the disk is too busy. The issue is very reminicent of TS12 when this occurs.

Speaking of DBRs, I do the same with my content.
 
I have the same issue with the live (released) version but the beta is working fine. Something has changed.

What does the Content Store say next to your account name?

If you click on the Launcher and go to Trainz settings, what does your My Trainz login say?

If it says validating..., then that's the same issue I have. This may be an account log in issue, not the same account as the forums and N3V needs to know about it.
