Hi Gentlemen, Ladies:
Got that message while editing properties on a Locomotive, was adding the running number.
What a major headache that caused.
Have all the dependency errors corrected that came up from that, but all the signals around the entire route are gone.
When in surveyor and zoomed at a very specific distance you can see where they used to be, there is a tiny little square there. Have they just gone invisible? If so how do I fix that? If I have to re-signal the route, will there be an issue with all the little squares that used to be the Signals?
Thanks for your help.
Here's a picture of what I see.

Thanks gents.
Yes I did run a extended database repair overnight.
I had faulty dependencies showing on the route but have repaired them (I'm sure by some unusual methods)and now the route has no errors warnings or missing dependencies.
What I mean by unusual methods is, cows sound error I fixed by deleting the pasture cow area on the map. Nothing else worked, there were no sound files to be seen on the map, I checked wire frame view as well.
The N. S. & E. W. grain modules were there but not recognized, fixed by deleting module and merging module again.
The signals throughout the map is my concern, just don't know what to think if that is going to cause me an issue down the road.
Thanks for your thoughts.

Tried re-signaling a section, the previous signal placement is still visible at that certain zoom distance, the little square is not selectable with the mouse at that elevation, and as soon as you zoom closer they disappear.
Here's a pic with section re-signaled.

Check that the layers haven't been stuffed by the crash.

Duplicate the route and try merging the layers into the route layer and see what happens.

The alternative is to look in the backups folder and go back a day. After backing up your current route, import the data from the backup by doing and import content. Your route should be back to where it was before it got stuffed.

I would like to add that the session had been long since I had last saved, perhaps 4 hours or so, with many different functions being used, and this is only a xp 32 bit machine.
