Trainz crashing when saving

Having suffered crashing when the autosave came on, I found it was a common problem on the forums without many solutions. I had been using surveyor for some time without any problem but one day decided to enable PhysX to see how it worked. I Then started to suffer crashing to the desktop every time the autosave came on, I eventually got around to disabling the PhysX and I haven't had a problem since. I hope this is useful advice to all those desperately searching the forum for an answer. Losing the use of PhysX is a small price to pay.

This issue has been solved with SP1.

What version are you using?

I am using SP1 and as I mentioned it was not happening until I enabled PhysX and then was ok after disabling.

Likewise, it was a big problem for me before SP1 but hasn't happened since. Peter
