Trainz 2010 EE - How to enable more routes/scenarios?

Hi,

I have a n00b question that I hope someone can help me out with. I just bought Trainz 2010 (download) and my son has tried out almost all of the routes and scenarios available from the main menu. I see that there are many more routes in the Content Manager than those shown in the Main Menu of the Trainz application. My question is how to get make these routes visible in Trainz?

I'm only trying to enable access to routes that are "built-in". I'm not trying to download routes from DLS (that is another problem entirely). Can anyone give me some advice on how to enable access to all of the built-in content (namely, the routes) shown in the Content Manager?

Thanks in advance! :)

Many of the routes on the DLS are mainly for older versions of Trainz and may not work in 2010 as they will be many missing assets.

So to be honest, if you can't build your own then your stuck for the time being until more routes are built for 2010 - 2009 become available.

There is only one route on the DLS that may work for 2010 and thats the Malliag (not sure if spelt that correct) route built for 2009.

But make sure all route are committed and installed, and CM has found all the missing assets.

Hope this has helped you a little.

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for or not, but here goes anyway:

By default only a small number of routes are listed. Click on the gold star on the top of the routes list to display the full list.

ekin1972 and john259 - Thank you! That tip about unchecking the star revealed many more routes. My son will be thrilled.

Thanks!

Thanks for the help with the gold star. I'd never of thought of unselected that to show all the routes.

I reply to this I have got my routes from trainz 2004 / 2006 , its is easy to import into the Content Manager application. The hardest part was finding the file name in the old routes in my trainz 2006 folder. Once you have the whole folder that contains your old route then click File > Import Content. any missing dependencies are also added the same way. 2009 I don't know I didn't buy it.
