No. TRS2006 stores downloaded assets in a database system which is held in the local folder and uses CMP (select Manage Content in the TRS2006 launcher window) to import content into the database. You have to use CMP to view what's in it or to edit downloaded kuids. CMP is used to check kuids for errors and missing dependencies.
The biggest 'cause' of 'errors' in older content that you download is that the 2006 database system treats the first word in each line in a kuid's config.txt file as a tag and only a limited set of tags, as defined in the content creation guide (CCG2006) document, are allowed. As a result, mis-spelled words and some older, obsolete parameters are now treated as an error in 2006. To complicate matters, any kuid that has errors may or may not work when used in a route in 2006.
