Trainz 12 Question

I will be getting Trainz 2012 soon and I have a few questions. When you play the Mojave route in Trainz 12, does it have to be Multiplayer or can it be solo, where I can run my train and run other trains on my route? Is Trainz 12 the same setup as Trainz 2006 where I can create routes and when I run a train on a route, can I tell that train to go to that destination like a station or an industry? Also, in Trainz 12, is it the same setup as Trainz 2006 where you can place the engines and cars anywhere you want on a route or create a route? Also, does Trainz 12 come with Santa Fe Dash 8's or Dash 9's for the Mojave route as I've been seeing in videos from YouTube, or is that an addon? The reason why I ask these questions is because I have Trainz 2006 right now and I am going to be getting Trainz 12 soon and I want to know more about it. I do know that Trainz 12 finally now has a doppler effect for the horns and whistles.

Trainz 12 works pretty much the same way as 2006; that is, you can drive routes, use the surveyor to build or modify routes and sessions, and no, you don't have to use multiplayer.

Just be sure you have a higher end computer to be able to run 12 properly...it takes a lot of horsepower to run reasonably smoothly. Moving display sliders to the left does help.

Dash 8's are included in the purchased game; not certain about dash 9's.

Moving display sliders to the left does help.

And if moving the display sliders doesn't help enough, one can resize the window.

Thanks for your help. Now I know about trainz 12. Now I have a question about the forum here. Up near the profile name where it says Trainz 2006 near my profile name next to where it says if online or not, how do I change that so I can add TS 12 next to TSR 2006?

When you register the game, the timeline updates automatically.
