Trainz 12 Multiplayer Problems

Hi!
I have some problems in Trainz 12 with multiplayer. In the Main Menu there is no sign of a button called Multiplayer or something like that!
I heard from a friend that in Trainz 12 you can play multiplayer, but I cant find that function. Please help!

In Trainz 12, look for the route 'Debrecen-Nyiregyhaza' . The bottom one of the six sessions for this European route is the multi-player session, in-built to the game itself, although you may have to download and install a set of three dependancies prior to launching this multiplayer session. The speed of how fast the session will load and run will depend on your broadband internet speed. As far as I understand other mutli-player sessions can be downloaded from the DLS. I can't say for sure as I haven't been on my copy of TS12 for a long time - I'm having to get used to the game all over again..

My guess is that you did not patch your game yet to Service Pack 1.
In the latest patch, some nice functionality is added: A menu that lists all the active multiplayer sessions. You no longer have to have the routes to see them listed.

So, here is what you should do:
Start your game and check the number in the bottom-right corner. It should be something above 46000.
Go to this page and download the patch connecting your build-number to a higher build and install that.

Note: The SP1 patch is HUGE, so updating your game will probably take many hours.
Consider making a back-up before doing so.

I am now downloading a file called 49922_to_61388.exe!
I that the right thing to do?
Because the number in the right bottom corner of the launcher is 49922, so I guessed it was that file. And you had right about the file. It IS HUGE!!!
And just so you know, I am an owner of Trainz 2010: Engineers Edition, so I know how to install new things.

That's perfect.
And yes, it is around 1.8gb.

To add:
You could already do MP with 49922, but most MP players have patched. The only built-in MP session is mentioned by fen-tiger. All other sessions (still) need to be downloaded, but the new interface will at least tell you which routes+sessions have activity.
