Trainz 12 from Steam issues with Download station

I recently downloaded Trainz 12 from Steam. I bought an FCT, which I activated. However, I can't seem to get the download station to connect with the game. I have tried using Content Manager V3.5, and it doesn't recognize the items in my cart. Do I need to do anything else, or am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

First question. What operating system are you using?

The next question is - are you getting any specific error messages?

No. When I click "Download All" on the cart page, it opens Content manager, which says, under the download helper tab, that there are no items to be displayed.

OK. That error can be fixed by running the game as administrator.

To do this with the Steam version, follow my instructions at http://trainz.shaneturner.co.uk/tutorials/index.php?page=running-as-administrator, the shortcut you will need to modify is the one that launches the Steam Client itself. Bear in mind that this will also affect any other Steam games you have installed.

EDIT: If Content Manager cannot find the items, make sure you actually have items in the Download Cart.

I went through and changed both the desktop shortcut and the actual client for steam, TS12, and Content Manager. However, Content Manager still doesn't recognize my cart, which has items in it, when launched from both separately and from inside trainz. Not sure what that's all about.

UPDATE: I figured it out. I have to download from within Trainz itself, not using the Content Manager. Thank you very much for your help.

That's a bit odd. Is it reporting any errors at the bottom of the screen?
