There really should be a free demo, so that those of us with less than optimal systems can try it and decide whether or not it runs "acceptably" on our systems, if for no other reason.
No way I'm going to pay $49 only to find that TS12 runs poorly on my old system (worse than TS2010), and I have to dial down all the effects just to get it to run at all!

And you will buy a better video card, and a 1.21 Gigawattz PC :hehe:
Tell me if I am wrong: If TS 09/10 plays choppy framerates on your present PC ... I would presume that TS12 would also be choppy framerates
I disconnect my Eithernet cable, and turn off my Anti Virus, as well as turning off Fraps, and deleting the trainzoptions Trainztuner Zfar line, and set allmost all performance sliders to the Left
I blew out my PC with a 380 mph leafblower ... now my whole house is dusty ! :hehe:

How would you measure that?? Trainz demo would be smaller than the real Trainz 12, so, it may work on your system, but the actual game won't

Only in terms of disk footprint. The game itself would remain the same.
