Ensure that the track is connected to the crossing. The circles should turn yellow if they are connected properly.

My method for installing crossings is as follows:

1) Place and align the crossing on the tracks.
This determines the angle it should be.

2) Cut the track and the road (if necessary) on either side of the crossing.
This assumes that the track is already in place. If not skip to next step.

3) Ensure that the terrain is level.
Once your crossing is in place, don't try to adjust the land underneath. This will cause the connections to break.

4) With the crossing properly aligned, connect the track to the crossing and do the same with the roads.

You're good to go after this.

I always insert a spline point, then split the spline, then connect the two ends.

Hi I am Dr. PereMarquette1225fan

Your problem is...you are not edragging the track to the crossing (using a single track). The track splines in most cases do not connect with the railroad crossing (I know from experience.) You need to understand that they don't connect like that.

If using a double track spline start using single track to reach the crossing. Doctor's order.

P.S. I am not a doctor, but if I was I'd be a loco doctor. (A doctor for locomotives.) :hehe:
