Train Vs Truck Wreck...

I'VE SEEN THAT.

That British guy Annoys the Hell out of me.

'Why can't the Train stop? It's always Me-me-me!'

SHADDUP. Trains can't stop fast. Any general person ought to know that

I've also seen it before on YouTube and in the video in the link no offense but that British dude is somewhat annoying to me. I rather watch the original video.

Now everybody should be patient because when you have a 4,000 ton freight train pushing against you because of the fact that your in a locomotive that is hauling it there is no stopping on a dime and it does take a mile to stop and this has happened many times resulting in some injuries and some in death because people think they can beat a train to a crossing then you really must be out of your mind, that is your life you are gambling with,I'm sure this would have happened with a steam locomotive traveling at passenger train speeds, and here is more things to remember: do not judge on either locomotive headlight being on or off and the most important the speed of the train because that train can come from anywhere at any time then there is the long long short long whistle code was and still is in effect in several places if people can accept train whistles/horns with bells and by the way if your smart wait for the train to pass before you cross the tracks and the railroad will cite anyone for tresspassing on their property.

Yeah that is stupid and that is a deadly incident involving a person and a locomotive which annoys me now if there was a steam locomotive on the rails today that would have made a bad situation worse!

Not a video, but this is what happens when you ignore crossbucks. My dad was the conductor. The tracks shifted 6 inches left of where they should have been. The truck was loaded with 20 tons of limestone. The driver never looked. The engine is over in Pa. at G&W's shops.

Personally, I find it shocking and disturbing at the same time that someone just because they might be in a rush trying to do what they need to get done and they fail to hear the locomotive coming until it is too late and what happens? a totaled car and a person dies because the driver was being careless and causing destruction to railroad property and they blame the railroad for their actions just to get across the tracks before the train gets there? that is just plain crazy and not only you are putting your own life at risk but those around us as well! This is not a game to be played and gambling with other people's as well as your own life is the biggest mistake you can ever make when a locomotive and or a whole train is involved in this matter!

People on the road get impatient behind me, when I see red RR crossing signals flashing, and the RR crossing arms are seconds from becoming activated gates, I stop prematurely, wrecking their whole time schedual...My 3 bumper stickers say:

This vehicle stops at all RR crossings, to watch trains !

You should have left 20 seconds earlier...then you wouldn't be behind me !

Fail to plan...plan to fail !
