Train station in "Hugo" movie

Is the train station in the movie a real-life station? The boy had a bad dream that a train crashed through the station.

Hi Jeffmorris
Although I've not seen the movie, I do know the scene (from trailers, and a 'making of' video).

The incident, and the station, were based off a real event. I would recommend this page to find out a bit more :) http://danger-ahead.railfan.net/accidents/paris_1895.html

Sorry, I don't have a link to the 'making of' video, which used a rather nicely made scale model to replicate the crash...

Some French station, or supposed to be, and that is the limit of my knowledge of the movie.

My best guess is the station is Either Montrapasse itself or could be Gare Du Nord, just from what I've seen if it and the few pictures I have of my two trips to paris (I was like 2 at the time, so parents took them).
