TOTR rides again!

TOTR veteran :))
After finishing up a show in Edison, NJ, talking to Lance and working with and visiting yutzk and josh from US Locomotive Works, I can see that the interest in v-scale modeling continues to increase.

Soooo,
TOTR is looking for more help. As V-scale becomes more popular and more recognized by the modeling community at large, it is a good time to be more present at traditional hobby shows. So this may be a good time for some interested trainzers to have some fun showing off the virtual side of the hobby and maybe put some holiday money in their pocket to boot.

To that end, I was talking to my friends at Greenberg shows yesterday and found out that I can still get into more shows in December! A bunch are before Christmas. Nice!

If you are interested, contact me here or directly and I can give you the rundown on how we can work together.

In the east, the shows are -
Timonium, MD Dec 01-02
Buffalo, NY Dec 08-09
Philadelphia, PA Dec 15-16
Chantilly, VA Dec 29-30 - What better way to bring in the New Year?
---
I may be able to get into these western shows as well - I haven't verified spaces yet.
San Diego, CA Dec 01-02
Shakopee, MN (St.Paul) Dec 01-02
Tulsa, OK Dec 08-09
Dayton, OH Dec 15-16
Ridgefield, WA (Portland) Dec 15-16

April, 2008: Trains, Trains, and More Trains! model train show, Puyallup Fairgrounds, Puyallup, Washington.

Is TOTR going to be there? If not, I'd be happy to showcase TRS instead!

All I have is TRS2006 though...

Ah bugger... Chantilly? Too far from me unfortunately. You should pick somewhere closer to southwest VA :p

Cheers,
John

I'm in for Philly if youd like Chris. Ive never been to that one before so it could be something new for me. More the better I say!! Probably will be just me this time around and maybe the significant other on the laptop doing sales :D

That was exactly MY idea, but alas, the significant other is not of the same mind. :(
I will contact the show tomorrow and get you a table for 2. The last show I did in Philly was non-stop.

We are a vendor. Depending on your own business status (whether you are a business owner yourself) you can do the show as yourself or as Auran / Cordes Software.
It also has to do with local tax laws. We are exchanging money so you'll find that EVERYONE has their hand out. ;)
Once we get through some preliminary stuff done, we can get into that.

I suppose my local hobby shop might be willing to help me with the "vendor" status lol...

Actually I help you with that. If you are not a business you do the show as our representative.

... And I guess that is good info for anyone wanting to do a show. You don't have to be a business yourself, we register you with the show organizers and you show up to do the showing as an independent rep.

I'm saying that I'm closely affiliated with their business (I help them out almost every day!). But hey, I'd rather be a rep of yours/Auran's because then I'm REALLY representing TRS!
