tmz 06003's Br Class 150 units

Just a word to say thank you to tmz06003 for his BR class 150 units, the units look great and run well. The only thing missing was, no opening doors and no passengers inside. I hope his next class 150's will have opening doors and passengers as this would be a good addition to his units.

Thanks for this. I do notice that one sits about two storey up in te cab while driving. Any chance of bringing the driver back to earth?

Well, they're reskins of WEN's units, as I understand it. So it'd be WEN you want to petition to update them... But IIRC (and I may very well not remember correctly), WEN largely disavowed himself from the models and isn't planning on updating them.

Not always, just that I have a massive list of things to do and that updating comes when I can afford the time. The 150 needs a playmate, so does the 142 (both are nearly there, is porting the bodyshells over while sorting the textures.)

Yes, a big thanks to WEN for these units ( as stated in the configs and on the DLS), IMO these are the most accurate bodyshells for the class 150 in Trainz which is why I felt it was very important to have them freely available on the DLS.

Yes there are some issues which I've detailed on the UKTrainz forum, and I've also offered to help WEN out to sort them. As you may have noticed I've been offering an updating/completing/sorting service to other creators recently and the results are all freely available to all. It makes reskinning a heck of a lot easier and more effective when you have the meshes

Again it's up to WEN and only WEN as to whether he takes this offer up, there's no pressure as they are his assets (and very good ones at that!!).

Thanks for clarifying the ownership. I also note that the doors open on the incorrect side when stopped at a platform. Please disregard this if you are already aware of the problem.

I used to work as a Guard on trains at Kings Cross and when they got rid of us and the trains went DOO (Driver Only Operation) it was common for drivers to open the doors on the wrong side.The golden rule is - "as long as no passengers fall out , deny it happened", That was what British Rail did anyway.

Thats an easy fix, its where I get my left and right confused, so the left doors become the right doors or vice versa, it can do your head in after a while.
