Tilting Telgraph Wires

I quite like this one. The poles stand at near 90 deg to the terrain on flat ground, but slope when the terrain is deformed. It’s also nicely scaled with poles and wires which aren’t too thick.

Nice looking route.
Looks like the Swiss alps would like to check it out, is it on the dls?

Thanks
Bob

Thanks for your kind words Bob.

The route is one of mine - not released.

Still a work in progress - Italian/French Maritime Alps.

I doubt that it will ever find a home other than on my PC. It all seems too difficult as the DLS will not accept uploads built on old versions. I've also, more recently, added lots of kuid's which are not on the DLS, so the 3rd party asset chase is likely to be a bit extreme.

Cheers
Casper

mezz,

I did a quick search for gfisher's kuid above on the DLS and google but didn't come up with anything. You don't happen to remember where you got them?

Those are the poles George made for my Laurel Line layout that I'm working on...you can download them at USLW.

Do not forget TheCowboy's Old West Telegraph splines on the DLS for your single-wire needs. Both colors come in two versions: one that leans on slopes like the one that Casper showed, and one that stays straight (?). ;)

Regards.
