Ishie:D

Plz Note: the link will always be the same but the newspaper contents will change from time to time. I will update this post by just changing the date in blue!

Piz Note: this is not a daily newspaper. Basically, each month we see what we get done in all trainz departments, which includes routes, contents, products, etc and if it's worthy then we type it all together to present it to you guys and girls. However, to view what's available currently just stop by our forum and take a peak, and spend some trainz fun-time with us!

Good luck with the newspaper, it's a great idea.

An observation, not meant as a criticism: it's fine in IE7 but the formatting doesn't work properly in Firefox 2 on my computer. Some of the text appears on top of other text and some is hidden behind graphics.

ps Do I detect a Wendy's Hamburgers fan? I refer to the excellent use of the old-tyme newspaper ads as fillers :)

Hi John, I just checked it with my Firefox 2.0.0.3 and it rendered perfectly in mine.

The old pics, I just added fictional identities to them, then added them as fillers :)

The "WS" was an idea I had for my forum members to use as their own little tablet, where they can add a bit of news, a story, or "Heard Around The Ridges" type of thing. Anything really. :)

It's not daily. :)

Cheers
Wiley :)

Just fits 800x600, let's see how 1024x768 looks - back in 57 seconds!

Most of the text body is a bit small to read in 1024x768.

Hey Wait a minute, wait a minute there. Railroad. But, but Wiley, ignoring the SSR, Australia has railways, not railroads.

It's a small rag :) , I might widen it, full browser width, allowing a larger font size to be applied.

That's it. :)

It took a while to knock up, I didn't think it was that long though. :)

Oh Ish6, you forget to build an industry to notify in Wiley's paper - a shredder for the real media "barrons"! (especially one one-sided) media!

Hi all,

I've registered with Wiley's board, but since I'm waiting for conformation I'll just post here:

Firstly, could you give a mention to the competition that I was trying to set up. Recently, the subject's gone quiet, and I still want to know who is interested in taking part or if I should bin the idea. I'll subtly bump the relevent thread so people can see what I mean.
EDIT: http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=10942 :D

Secondly, how about getting a regular columnist for the various sections of the Trainz community. I'd volunteer to do Britain, though if someone else wanted to do it instead of me I'd not be offended.

BidMod.
