The River Sub.Coming soon to Mopac route of the Eagle

For the last couple of years I have been working on a new main line sub to add to myRoute . This is a more Classic AtoB type of route . The River Sub is a free lance route
That gets its name from the many rivers and streams that the route follows . Most of the route takes place in a mountaines setting .From the time you leave Desoto yard to the
End of the new route the grade is mostly up hill all the way . There be lots to do on the
New Line .I have already added one town on the line I call Glennwood . Lots of switching there to keep a local crew there most of the day . Will be adding one more
Town at the end on the line with a good size yard and lot more new industries in and round the town . Im about ¾ of the way done on the new line . The new route will be given out for free . Although lots of the content on this route is payware . I will not be
Able to supply you with any of the pay ware content . I will post all the sites where you will be able to go purchase the content on your own be half . Id Say most of you have already gotten most of this content already . Here are some new screen shots of what I have done so far.

Those screenshots look very good. Very nice. How long a route will it be?


BTW, don't know how well you take criticism but I'd be careful using those 2-D houses close to the tracks (very last screenie, houses on the left).

Great looking screens, and great looking route, you've done well. Perhaps you would consider asking AJ to move this to screenshots though? I really like the way the road and the tracks take on different elevations in the last couple shots!

Well only reason why he put it in the free area was this route is for free and to show others it was free. He had one in the screen shot area, but now I guess he's got 2. Lol. Oh well, guess ya can't have enough of this great route.

I understand the payware situation...and believe me there's some great payware scenery out there...but I was wondering if there was a way for the end user (IE me) to "sub-in" freeware content for some of the payware stuff. with me being in college and not having much spare cash lying around, I really try to save my payware cash for stuff like locos and cars, etc.

Might be one of the stranger questions I've asked, but I've always been taught that you don't know unless you ask.

All that's missing from that shot is a great plume of smoke rolling out of the tunnel! Looks wonderful!

Well, we have shadows for the tunnels now, all we need is a smoke effect that can be height adjustable and set off by a trigger....

Edit : Maybe a attachment mesh added to the tunnel mouth.... Hmmmm

Oops, I was thinking out loud again..................
