The Great Lakes Project

As I go through this build, if you have questions about signaling show me a picture of what you got that don't work. I've been at this for awhile and can move a ton of trains anywhere on my network. All 77 of them units ended up in Green Bay, WI at two different portals this morning after traveling 1,000's of miles combined to get there. Intersections, Junctions and Interchanges all need proper AI signaling to guide them through correctly. When you get that right this is just a fun game to watch.

And they all have to go pretty much through this to get anywhere; So I can Signal for AI.

From Iron Mountain, MI Northwest (left corner), Pembine, WI Southwest to Hermansville, MI, Middle, where the SOO line and C&NW meet. The Soo Line went north into Escanaba the C&NW went on a south parallel. I'm going to double track the SOO & C&NW into Escanaba for now, Powers Junction east of Hermansville where C&NW E&W freight met N&S is just east of Hermansville. Bark River (right leg middle, where I am at is about 12 miles west of Escanaba, MI on Little Bay de Noc in Lake Michigan. That's where the C&NW hauled it's Iron Ore from the Iron Range and had their docks. The C&NW hauled down from Negaunee, MI off the Partridge Yard on a route not built yet. That's one of the Reasons why the Old Yooper didn't work.

One of the Primary Purposes of this Junction in Ishpeming, MI, Winthrop JCT. The head of the Duluth Shore & Atlantic L'Anse Subdivision, and the C&NW National Mine Branch,was to route DSS&A Freight and C&NW ore trains in and out of Ishpeming. None of this exists anymore.

This is the last little bit of connecting from the Iron Range to Great Lakes Port of Marquette & Escanabe, MI, about 52 crow Miles;
