'Off Topic' is seldom tolerated unless there is some direct train association. I assume the game thread was deleted. I assume this thread will be also. No criticism of mods expressed or implied, I thought it was a bit silly too....
In all seriousness, though, I wasn't surprised when it vanished...like Dermmy said, there hasn't been as much topic drift allowed since the collapse of the old forums (and the off-topic subforum along with it). There have been several movements to bring back an off-topic subforum, but they have been met with inarguable realities (ie how hard it is to moderate, it's not what the forum is for, etc...I forget most of what was actually said).
No criticism of mods intended explicitly or implicitly in this post, btw.
