I have never really seriously tried to eliminate the extreme bright textures. These occur with various Auran Sun angles and are a major distraction since that phenomenon never occurs in nature.
I seem to remember there was "possibly" some way to fiddle the alpha texture to eliminate this issue. The texture I am working with is Textura de Hierba 3 STR, its on the DLS.
I tried fiddling the texture itself (hierba.texture) using Images2TGA from PEV. However, after making changes in Ifran (chosen editor) I could only save in TGA format and that was rejected by Trainz 2010 as a bad format. So I am stuck?
