hi, ive been modifying some of my custom tgv units to use the UK photograph but brecknell willis pantographs are too high above the engine and are too far apart

see here!

am i doing anything wrong?

plz help

edit:
i fixed it by using <KUID:84860:57221> (BR, Brecknell, Willis 'Highspeed' pantograph) but its still a little higher then the overhead cables, any way of lowering the pantograph height?

Clone Cat then edit cat config/use the position tag
The red example is a bogy kuid so will be way to low.
Trial and error

mesh-table

position 0,0,0.626
}

The first 2 numbers are the x and y coordinates, those you don't want to move.

The last one that is 0 point 626 is the z coordinate, which moves it in height.

Tell ya what, copy and past the config file as a text here and lets see what it looks like.

Don't forget to then edit TVG with your new CAT kuid

NO...You edit the pantograph config,txt
Add the lines:

Attachment Maker. makes/places attachment points.
Your not going to make a attachment but show the X,Y,Z position for your pantograph placement.

Well did you get any errors.
If not take a look at the TVA in railyard
If you used the same data the pant will be somewhere near bogeys.
You must adjust height by editing position 0,0,0.626

i looked in the railyard after adding the mesh and the pantograph didn't appear
 
Just move any yellow X and transfer info to pant config / position 0,0,0.626.

I have some yard work to finish be back in about 1hr.

thats a screen shot after i first put the panto on earlier, is the default height of it. im still trying to get it just a little bit under the cables but its best i could do so thats why i asked on here

OK..I know I gave you the tools to adjust the panto.
I just don't know how to explain there use.

Welcome to the forum.

Since you only have Trainz Driver registered, you can’t download them.
First get your game registered to your account and then you can just download a lot of those from the DLS.
 
64577 is from Genesteal and I can’t send them to you as they were payware even if the website closed. You can have the TGV on the DLS
