TER: Screenshot of the week. NS Pittsburgh Line

Canenary

Nice screenshots... I've seen delapidated old telegraph poles with green glass insulators with dozens of communication wires running along side of the prototype PRR-CR-NS lines, but is there a cantenary system of wire running beside the Pittsburg Line, unless thats on the Pittsburgh side of Pittsburgh ? More cool screenshots please:cool:

I wasn't going to say anything, but I do agree with you WCL. The shot looked pretty much the same as last weeks with different motive power.

is that a paywear route that your makeing if so please tell me it goes to conway or at least mile post 353 in pittsburgh

Cantenaries?

There are no catenaries on the Pittsburgh Line (especially not here in the 'Burgh) last time I checked...

I think they're supposed to be telegraph poles (although they are the wrong kind).

It probably isn't actually a prototypical representation of the real tracks heading to Pittsburg, but a more freelanced route, though I could be wrong.

If those were being used as cat wires they would be over the tracks.

I'll will switch the poles another day; no worries.

The route is from Altoona to Johnstown PA. I also have a Conway route in the works, after all that is my train spotting ground.

As for Mr Cascaderailroad, your Pittsburgh line isn't on the same planet.
So that would explain the many startling differences between your route and mine.;)

I hope that cleared things up.

I am just wondering what you meant by what you said at Cascade. Does that mean that you are making it a fictional route, because Cascade was talking about the real prototype.

Here is another shot Maybe this will help.

Ah, okay. That is what I thought. By the way, I have always loved the scheme on UP 1996. SP had a very nice paint scheme. The DRGW scheme is my favorite one though.
