hello: just looking for info( close to getting a new computer)

if you have a I7 processor and a nvidia 560gt which I think you can overclocked; from 3.4 to 3.8 ghz thats can turbo boost and 10 gb ram. I would think that it has a good or maybe great ps maybe a 800 watt. with it
comes a strong fast motherboard ( which I do not know the most popular mother board to carry this type of load). what I'm I looking for in a motherboard besides of supporting the processor and the graphics card memory and so on.

also I have other games to play so need a high end computer like diablo II;III, microsoft filght simulator, war of warcraft,

See my specs close to what you want ( just about to put in new 1250w psu )

My current rig (listed in sig) has a 750 watt power supply.

Will be upgrading to a GTX560 soon, the power supply should be able to handle it. Nvidia recomends +12 volts 30 amps minimum, power supply is rated +12 volts 45 amps. It will be cutting it close.

Planning a build with an i7 and 560 you really should get a larger power supply, if only to cover future expansion.

Try 1000 watts and don't look back.

Same for me (See sig) Have had no probs, and v likely will have none when I upgrade the GFX card soon.

My MB is an Asus P6T SE - Is a year or so old, so you might want to check what their latest rev is. Holds all the i7 chips, and is clockable:cool:

An i7 chip is overkill for (I assume you meant World of Warcraft) and Diablo, my old P4 ran WoW at max settings with a 512Mb AGP card lmao

My recently acquired mobo is an ASUS Maximus IV Extreme - Z which is pretty much the best you can get now. I bid for it "Used" on ebay and got for about £100 less than it's retail price.

I guess the consensus is for ASUS. No big mystery there.

Not entirely. Gigabyte have the Sniper and EVGA have the SR2 where you can have TWO CPU's but as far as I cangather the AM4EZ wins out over the Sniper and the nearest EVGA single CPU board.

No way.

Sniper stealthily hunts Sabertooth.

Sniper does not notice Sabertooth has 2 pals.

In a pincer movement Sabertooth flanks and destroys Sniper.

Dinner time.:hehe:
