I don't know I like the look of the electro liner better that and also the talgo cars just look wierd I actually live an hour away from the Illnois railway museam an love the look of the north shore passenger cars and do love the electroliner I just wish that they ran it nowaday's at the museam, but I can't remember the reason why it can't run I think it had to do somthing with the traction moters either being streetcar moters or that they wern't suited for a train at that traveled at the speeds the electro liner did. but if they ever do run it I think they should do a run on it from the loop to the town of skokie.

P.S. does anybody know when the hiawatha line is getting the talgo cars?

no i dont know about the Talgo cars

I live in Hammond In and I don go to Chicago often
Hammond is right by State Line Junction and we have 2 NICTD stations here:)

Except that the Talgos running on the Hiawatha will look like this: http://www.talgoamerica.com/images/series-8_trainset.jpg

Instead of the older 'finned' (Series VI) cars. The new Talgo's Oregon are getting will also spot the "newer" (Series 8) cars. That being said you do get the Talgo Power Control car on one end, but will probably just have a regular Phase Vb P42 on the other.
