T:ANE Windowed mode issue

So When I go into windowed mode on T:ANE (SP2 HF1) the window seems to extend through the taskbar and I can't seem to get it to fit on screen

So is there any way to fix this?

Its usually a Windows Screen resolution setting that causes this problem. It has been the subject of several threads over the past few months particularly after the last major Windows update. Solutions can be found at:-

Hmmm. Perhaps a message to the Helpdesk (link at the top of this age) on why you cannot access the thread. A number of new TANE users have reported a similar access issue.

Regarding the possible solution to your screen problem, I have pasted the relevant post from the second link below

Check your Windows System, Display, Scale and Layout settings for the answer. Probably set to 150% by the sound of things. Set it back to the recommended scale for your output device (probably 100% or perhaps 125% max.)
Also, make sure that T:ANE is set for the correct display output for your primary display monitor.

You check TANEs display setting by clicking Trainz Settings on the Launcher and in the General Tab, set the Primary display to Full Screen (checked) and the resolution drop down to your screens recommended setting.

Now if that does not work, one poster has reported that setting the Windows System, Display, Scale and Layout to a higher figure and then back again to its previous value worked (why???).

As a comparison, my laptop is set to 150% with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 but yours will/may be different. It took me a bit of experimenting before I found the correct values.

The problems may be related, what are the specs of your PC, or are you on a Surface Tablet, or smartphone device, or similar?
