SURVEYOR TO DRIVER AND BACK

Hi;
newbie here...

I wonder if anyone could tell me how to go from driver back to suveyor to continue working on a route. I get the tracks and industry laid out and go to quick drive to check it out, then back to surveyor to make any changes. After making the changes and trying them out, I exit after saving and close Trainz. I have tried to go back in and work on the routes again and cannot find it under surveyor, only under saved sessions. How can I reopen the route to work on it again? It does not save in surveyor or in driver, only in saved sessions...... Thanks Mike

I think you are editing a secondary driving session, instead of the main route.

Sometimes it says: "can not save a read only route ... save under a new name" in that case you "Save As" in the surveyor drop down box and save it as the same name (it can be he same name in "Save As".

I always do is first start a route and when testing it save as a session then do any editing in that session to the route and save route and session as...
and any re editing always do in the session this way you save all work of that route together instead of creating new session every time you edit it............
