I am trying to work out the value of the heights in surveyor. I have searched the forum but not turned up the answer I am looking for! If I am working in real scale and in imperial measurements, if I set the height in surveyor to 30 and create a plateau - what is the value of the 30? Is it 30 ft, 30 metres or is it just an arbitrary unit. In which case if I want to set a hill level to 100 feet, what height would I type in surveyor height? There must in my mind be some corresponding scale of approximate values (e.g. 1 surveyor height value = 10 ft). Thanks for any resonses, hope you understand the question!!
