Is there any way to improve the search engine so that three-letter terms can be searched? A large number of railroads are often referred to as 3-letter initialisms (CSX, NYC, PRR, CNW, etc.) and it's irritating that one cannot search for them, especially when the search will include the other parts (I.e. a search for "Soo Line" becomes a search for "Line")

It's generally better to use Google (or similar) for searching the forums. Use a format something like "Trainz Forum your search text".

There is a way you can search specifically for Trainz forum entries using Google, but I can't remember the format.

Usually the length restriction on search terms is used to prevent vast numbers of results being returned with some searches e.g. a search for the word "and".

That would be site:forums.auran.com, then a space followed by the search terms.
