Sudden Extra Content

I don't know if this is a problem or not. I bought T2004 about a year ago and it's been running fine. Just before Christmas my computer developed a problem, (not Trainz related!) but I had to uninstall Trainz in order to get it to work again. Since reinstalling the software I found that not only is all my downloaded content still intact :) but when I checked the railyard I've found that I've acquired some extra Locos and rolling stock :) . Not only that, but when I checked in Surveyor I'd also aquired some extra scenery. I checked the content using TO and found that some of the content I downloaded previously has now become built in content, (including some of the maps I'd created! ) and all the extra content I've acquired appears to be custom.
I'm not complaining, but was the stuff always there and my software not seen it? None of the new content is related to any scenarios I have currently but a lot of it looks like it relates to a scenario of some kind. Is there anybody who can tell me what happened?

Either the Good Fairy blessed you with new gifts or the downloaded content was not complete and missing default Trainz compents which were not installed correctly the first time.

You have reinstalled trainz then added the content including custom content. But custom content cant use your kuid number because you have not set up your kuid so it defaults to -2 kuid. You need to edit your kuid for trainz to reconise it. Auran/trs2004/edit kuid. You may need to change the custom -2 kuids back to your own kuid number in the config of each file that is yours. First you could try and delete the cache files after you have added the edited kuid information and see if it puts the kuid back.
Some downloaded content is now built-in. This may have been built-in originaly but had been updated since the release of trainz so should have a higher version number on the downloaded one.

Thanks for all the help. It's all straight now, but I still have the extra content. I think I'll just enjoy it and not worry about where it came from.
