Strange Splines

I made a mistake the other day, and accidently made a ground texture have the same KUID as a Spline I had made earlier (ok actually it was 4 ground textures & 4 splines). When I entered a route I had used the splines in they showed up as grey dashed lines but were not editable in any way. I can not get, move, delete, add on to, raise, etc. After realizing my error I changed the new ground textures to new kuids, and re-installed the splines. However in game they remain unchanged, and uneditable. Does anyone know how I can get these grey dashed lines to go away? Either by replacing them with the spline they're supposed to be or by just deleting them.

The splines in question are sidewalks.

Not sure it will work, but if you bump the revision number up by one on the splines it should (might?) force the program to have a look at what it is loading...

One thing that usually works for me - save the KUID or KUIDs to a CDP file and delete them. Open route, main menu, delete missing assets. If they go away, then reinstall what you need from the CDP.

I ve ran across splines like that in 2010 and found deleting em as a object
these where unknown errors from a route made in 2006 to 2010
since Ive learned splines are designed in a different manner now in 2010
than in previous versions may all try as a track also pending on the config file whats checked "istrack" "is road" etc........
hope that helps.........

Woa - 'Delete Missing Assets' will totally remove the assets from the route! We need to fix the kuid mix-up without needing to re-do the route...
