steam wont's stay steamed

Hey all,

I'm having a problem with my steam engines on a route. I have about 25 engines sitting idle for at times long periods of time. The first problem is that they either run out of water or overflow. Is there a way to keep them stable when idle?

secondly if I manually adjust the injectors on all of them to keep them steamed up...when I finally go to start them the BP drops off almost immediately and there is absolutely no way to keep it up....

I'm thinking that this is more of an issue with script or a stack dump or something like that. the second issue only seems prevalent after loading a saved game..but not always.

There is a driver command called Shut Down All Locomotives (enabled in Surveyor by selecting Edit Session Rules -> Driver Command -> Locomotive start or stop command), this does however rely upon the loco being configured with the appropriate handling of this command. Someone might be able to list some steam locos they know of that do.
