Static display of steam loco

I have a new route, and in the route there is a railroad Museum and a steam loco is displayed in this glass enclosed room. The loco is smoking and if you hit the throttle it will go though the wall inside the building. My question is how can I edit the config file for the loco so that there is no fire and no possibility of it moving?

Simplest way is to make it a trackside object.

there was a thread a while back i came across that taught everyone how to make dead engines for simulating dead in consist, what i read is you have to go to the config file, remove the engine sound, interior, smoking script, horn and it will make it a piece of rolling stock

just a friendly warning clone the asset you want to make a display out of, that way you dont have to make those changes to the original
