Start/Shut down for engines

I was wondering if there is anyway to get other engines besides Phil c's to start up and shut down. So far the the only payware that I can find that has this feature are the ones from world of trains, and I was hoping to add it to others I have bought?

Fred24 has done one BB6300 from the SNCF,which you can sart and stop

It would be nice is there was an easy way to do this with your locomotives. It would also be nice if fuel consumption and such were considered. I would love to add these features to some C&O, Chessie, and CSX units I have... of course, I am still working on getting half of these to actually WORK consistently in 2010. =)
