SSD Nearly Full

When I built my PC the intent was to use my 120GB SSD for the operating system and perhaps a few other small programs. I have a 1TB mechanical drive that I use for mass storage.

The problem is my Trainz, and I think all of its content, is stored on the small SSD and now it's almost full. Is there a simple way to transfer EVERYTHING that has to do with Trainz over to the larger mechanical drive...and so the program automatically knows to access everything from the larger drive and the program operates as it does right now.

If anyone has experience in this process and knows how to do it without problems I could use advice before I dive in.

Thanks

If you haven't made any changes, you could just re-install it on the other drive.
Otherwise, move all the folders, both program and data to the other drive. (be default, your data is stored in the hidden folder "app data." You'll have to unhide it to do the move.) Then when you start T:ANE, in the options tab, be sure the Install path is correct. Do a database repair and then everything should be correct.

If by changes you mean downloaded and installed content or made my own routes then yes, I have made changes. I'm having trouble finding TANE on my SSD. 2009 was easy to find in the Auran folder and I removed it because I no longer use it. How do I show a hidden folder called "app data"?

I have the Steam version and I have already copied the entire Steam folder to the mechanical drive but I'm pretty sure TANE was not in that folder.

EDIT...ok I found the current path that it is using, just not sure how to display the "app data" folder

Need to unhide hidden Files and folders.

Search Folder options.
Click it.
Click view tab.
Scroll down to Hidden Files and Folders.
Select show hidden files and folders.
Apply
OK.

Should be able to find your data now in C:\Users\Your_ windows_Username\AppData\Local\N3VGames\TANE

Not sure if Steam does things the normal way. I would set Windows Explorer to show hidden files and folders. Then in the App Data, there should be a subfolder "N3V Games." In there are the data files that you want to move. Once you've moved your data, return the hidden attribute to the way it was. That way you to prevent accidental changes.

This is one of the reasons for NOT using the default locations. I have everything on another Drive since permissions are easier to manage that way. Managing multiple versions (for testing) is also easier. Space is the other reason. My data drive is much bigger.
