Spreadsheet and/or Notepad?

Just had a thought - has anyone ever suggest to the Devs about having access to a Spreadsheet and/or Notepad in Surveyor to keep track of things that have been completed on a current route your working on (Specially a large route). Also tracking what things are in progress and the things to follow next (which is useful to keep track of AI trains setups like freight or passenger, signal schedules, grid system of your baseboards and so much more). I have been doing that outside Surveyor but it kinda sucks having to hit your Windows key to temporarily exit Surveyor (which tends to break your focus), update your notes then return to surveyor to continue building the route. It works for me, but if it was built in I think it would go faster..........thanks fro reading....

Very interesting idea... I've been doing something similar and never considered having it built in... Just a check list?
So just off the top of my head I'm thinking of using the WorkTable or InputTable to keep track of my tasks. It's basically like a notepad, right?

EDIT: My problem is, In 2009, if I'm still in surveyor and I Alt-Tab to Notepad, 2009 doesn't come back when I switch back. I have to exit to the menu and then switch apps.
