sporbust loco problems

(enter witty phrase here)
I know what you're thinking, missing assets.....wrong. I have downloaded every loco on the web page plus extra bits and the only locos i can get to appear in railyard are an sd60 and a up sw1500. I have all assetts and dependencies and am wondering if my processor and video card combo have something to do with it or does his locos have some genuine problem. I asked this question about 18 months ago and no one else has really said much along the same lines. His content looks fantastic, its just a shame i can't get it to work. uslw and rrmods stuff works a treat. I use vista on and msi mainboard, an amd athlon x2 2.5 ghz 4 gig ram and an ati 512mb radeon video card.
I run 2004 build 2365.
Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated. cheers

have you tried to change the trainz build in the configure files?
franks locomotives are made to run in 2006 which is build 2.5 and 2004 should read 2.4.
when you change the locomotive you should look up the bogies and change the build to 2.4 also.
hope this helps

The TRS04 problems are a reasonably easy fix. Most (not all, but most) of Franks bogies have a trainzbuild tag of 2.6. To make them appear in TRS04 you must edit the tag to 2.4. That is all you need to do. EVERYTHING for his locos is either on his web site or the DLS. When downloading from his website look carefully for small text links at the head of each column that lead to some dependencies.

For TS09/10 they work in 'Compatibility Mode' as downloaded. Getting them into 'Native' mode is more of a challenge. Somebody will write a how-to sooner or later...

Thanks guys, finally got them working. I was editing the config with TrainzObjects and it wasn't working, so I now run TrainzObjectz as an administrator and in compatibility mode and it worked. Some kind of vista shadow copy thing.:D:D
