Speedtrees

That's a solution I hadn't thought of. When you open a route then, are you able to delete all missing assets?

I think the only thing missing are the speedtrees swaying in the breeze and they can slow down trainz, depending on your computer.

Yes, but if you removed the Speedtrees via the folder, then they wouldn't be in the route, so then are you able to "delete all missing assets" in Surveyor, and the route will run okay without the trees?

In 2010 I took Speedtrees out of it,s folder and moved it to desktop. That certainly put paid to it, lol.

I assume you moved the speedtree dll file? Auran disabled that 'fix' in either SP2 or SP3, Driver point blank won't load if the file is missing.

If colourlight's fix was to move the dll not sure if 'del missing content' would work, the content isn't missing it's just not loaded....

If his fix was otherwise disregard my contribution :)

IMHO the best way to get rid of the built-in trees is use the asset-swap function to replace the built-ins with better 3D trees from 3rd party creators. There is some very very nice stuff starting to appear...

If you want the sway to stop then just set the wind to off, but if you want to change them to tree's that look really good then use the change asset tool and put in Pofig's trees instead.
I swapped all the old ST's from SnC to Pofig's and the route just sprang into life, plus I used the JVC Hawthorne, Gorse and Blackberry along the sides and what a difference it made.
