SpeedTree Problem

I'm suddenly having a problem with SpeedTrees. CMP, 3.3, says I have more of them than show up in Surveyor. Also some of the trees placed are now bare trunks. Also several, not all of them, show up as just trunks when I place them on a route. I did an EDR and that didn't help. Any ideas on what the problem could be.
