Speed Signs in 2010

Hi Everybody
I am converting a route that a originally built for TC3 into 2010 it is based on the North Devon Branch Lines (uk) of the 1960s era. I have a fast stretch of track between Braunton and Barnstable with a limit speed of 70 mph marked by BR White cast speed boards. The problem that I have is that there is a right-hand switch a couple miles short of Barnstable that will take freight trains etc on a circuit around the Barnstable stations and I have marked this with a 30 mph White cast sign to the right (white arrow pointing right underneath the speed sign).

However the signs do not seem to work in slowing the consists to the speed required at the switch they just career to the right at 70 mph. What i really want is for the trains to the Barnstable Station to continue at 70 mph for the next mile or so while the trains on the circuit slow to 30 mph prior to the switch. Has anybody else had this problem and solved it or anyone have any suggestions regarding the rules for the signs. Or is it just a bug in the program.

Many thanks in advance for any replies, hope the above explains the problem adequately

Bill
by the way I think 2010 is by far the best yet, so no complaints or moaning here
:D

Are these Bloodnoks ones that are built into 2010? If so you need to use his target boards for these.

Hi,

Also have a look at Invisible Speed-Signal v2 Kuid2:137713:23002:2

This will solve your problem. I know it talks about 2004, but it appears to work in all versions.

Cheers, John

Hi Chefbyte And builder
Thanks for the reply and yes they are the bloodnoc ones built into 2010. If you could let me know what target boards are and how you use them I would be very grateful. I would also have a look at the invisible speed signs as I have been using the invisible signals in conjunction with the Bloodnoc signals which have found to be a great combination

Again many thanks
Bill
