Speed Indication

Downloaded and installed Build 61388 on Trainz 12 yesterday. Today I noticed when I use the default Mojave Sub, the speed is mph. But when I try to create a new route, the speed is viewed as kph. How do I correct this?
Maybe I just was not paying attention - but I think 2-3 days ago; I saw mph in new route. Thanks

In driver, top right there is a set of 5 buttons, 2nd from left open that and set as you want.

You can switch between metric and imperial.

In surveyor you can go to the Main menu (top left), edit route, and then change the working units.

In driver you can go to the Additional tools menu (top right), and then switch to imperial units.

Edit:
And I see Fran beat me to it.

Thank you both for the reply and help. I did not know Imperial was for MPH. Thought it had something to do with England or somewhere - Not USA.

Yes it is England. Imperial means from the King (of England).. So the system of imperial units was by decree of the king. At one stage, so the story goes, one yard was the distance from the tip of the king's nose to the tip of his outstretched hand.

...and, of course, all the English colonies used the same measurement units.

The concept of miles and pounds (weight) has not changed.
Some countries (NZ for example) now use the metric system, others still use imperial.

One thing to note is that the US measures for liquids are different from Imperial one.
The US pint is 16 fluid ounces - and weighs one pound (lb), the UK pint is 20 fluid ounces.
Hence one gallon US weighs 8lb, the UK one is 10 lb.
Be careful when comparing fuel consumption or ordering beer!
The US "ton" is 2000 lbs, the UK one is 2240 lbs and, by chance (?) is almost identical with the metric tonne of 1000kg.

Cheers,
Colin
